How to make your travel year in review
December is the perfect time to look back: which places you discovered, how many kilometres you travelled and which moments you want to keep.
1. List the places of the year
Go through your gallery month by month and write down every country, city or town you visited, even a day trip.
2. Work out your statistics
How many countries, how many new cities, roughly how many kilometres, how many days of travel. The numbers are surprising and make you want more.
3. Choose one photo per trip
A single picture per trip forces you to choose the one that tells it best. With 5 to 12 photos you have a beautiful summary.
4. Write down your favourite moments
The best dish, the best view, the most interesting person, the funniest mishap. One sentence each.
5. Make something you can share
A photo book, a social media carousel or an image with your map and your numbers. Sharing it with the people who travelled with you is half the fun.
6. Think about next year
End your review with the three places you want to go next year. Writing them down is the first step to making them happen.
